The South Western Illinois Speech, Language and Hearing Association (SWISHA) is a diverse, local, non-profit organization representing licensed professionals with advanced degrees in speech-language pathology and audiology who work in the public and private schools, area hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, nursing homes and private practice.

SWISHA serves professionals who work or reside in the Illinois counties of St. Clair, Madison, Monroe, Randolph, Washington, Clinton, Jersey, Bond, Macoupin and Montgomery.

SWISHA's mission is to locally support and advocate for speech-language pathologists, audiologists and the individuals they serve with communication, hearing, and swallowing disorders.

SWISHA also seeks to provide educational opportunities for its members and others throughout the year. These continuing education opportunities enable professionals to meet the needs of their clients with the most current treatments and continuing education.
